Writer’s article: admits he’s gay. Non-story to me. Wouldn’t this best be done as a 3-word tweet?

That’s as much text as the software allows in the headline.  What I mean to say is that this is such a non-story in this day and age, that to further show how much of a non-story this is, those who want to come out should just say “I am gay” in a tweet, and go on with their day.  Their burden is lifted, no one is going to care anyway, and life goes on.  Have we reached that stage yet?  I hope so.
