Why I can’t stand PED usage in MLB

By Tangotiger, 01:51 PM

I don’t care who took what, where, when, why or how.  PED use in MLB is a workplace safety issue, an issue among the players themselves mostly, and in small part between the players and owners.  As a fan, I don’t care.  Ben Johnson in 1988 made sure that my innocence on this issue was obliterated.

The reason I can’t stand PED usage in MLB is that for at least the next 10 years, if not the next 20 years, we will get inundated by the Holy Writers making news and subsequently reporting on the news they created on the worthiness of these players of being in the Hall of Fame.  (And some of them will only be suspected, not even confirmed.)

I wish these Holy Writers would leave Iowa and just go to hell where they can report on NFL players’ PED usage instead.  An issue no one cares about.
