I’m watching Willis pitch tonight. He throws 86 mph and has no idea where the ball is going. Why would a team possibly want this guy? Yes, he USED to be good, but he USED to throw 90+ and could throw strikes. Clearly that is not the case now.
As a serious question, what is the upside of a LH pitcher who throws 86-87 with no command or control?
