We have another Bannister in Max Scherzer

Another pitcher who is a student of sabermetrics, or at least some aspects of it. Sounds like he is a lightweight as compared to Banny, but it makes you (or me at least) wonder two things:

1) One, are there any others we don’t know about?

2) In 20 years (or 10 or 30) are there going to be lots of professional players who grew up reading BP, The Book Blog, and the like?
