WAR by Age for HOF selected by BBWAA

WAR data courtesy of Rally.  40 pitchers (average WAR of 67) and 82 nonpitchers (average WAR of 74) selected by BBWAA.

The 2.5 WAR level (i.e., above average player) is averaged between ages 23 and 36 for nonpitchers, and 24-37 for pitchers.

And this is the chart if you order these players from their best to worst seasons:

For the nonpitchers, they get to 59 WAR after 10 seasons.  The pitchers get to 55 WAR after 10 seasons.
