Underrated hockey players

By Tangotiger, 11:22 AM

I like all the answers: your superstars who were better than almost all other superstars (Forsberg), the really good players who were just as good as their linemates (my answers: Larmer, Taylor), the defensive forwards who contributed without scoring (Ramsay), the defensive defensemen, and the overall great defensemen (Mark Howe).  Basically, you could have come up with one hundred names, and they’d all be reasonable choices.  Heck, even Ron Francis is somehow underrated, even though he’s a HOFer.
