Strong Criticisms of The Book

By Tangotiger, 09:45 AM

I would say that the number of people who have read The Book, and have strong criticisms of the book, compared to the number of people who did NOT read The Book, and have those same strong criticisms, is about a 1 to 10 ratio.

That is, there is a segment of people out there who claim to have read The Book, and did not.  And it’s easy to see who those people are, because all their criticisms are general and never cite a specific instance.  That is, they show no proof they read The Book.  This is very strange to me, seeing that Amazon gives away a large portion of The Book for free.  I can understand people wanting to take down The Book in the same way that Rush, Beck, and Hannity need to speak.  But, please, cite something in The Book, even if it’s completely out of context and shows your complete misunderstanding of what you read, rather than come to conclusions without stating the facts.

Feel free to use this thread to be as harsh as you like on The Book, like those three yappers are as harsh on anything they don’t believe in.  But, cite something from The Book first, so we know you actually read the darned thing.  I’ll respond if you have a direct question about your complaint.
