Six-man baseball

By Tangotiger, 10:05 AM

Wezen points out a game created 70 years ago.

Two points:
1. I would still have a second base in there.  It doesn’t have to be a perfect square, and it doesn’t have to be equidistant between 1b and 3b.

2. When we played with 12 players, we had THREE teams: 4 batters (supplies catcher), 4 infielders, 3 outfielders+pitcher.  On the off-chance that the bases would be loaded, you have a ghostrunner.  And after 3 outs, you rotate in (OF to IF, IF to bat, bat to OF/P).  Anyone else play this?
