Psst… wanna hire Tango?
My very-long-term consultant position at my corporate America job is coming to an end in the coming weeks.
I started the process of checking out tech jobs online and the local paper. It doesn’t seem to be the most efficient method of getting a job. Peer-to-peer recommendations seem to carry more weight, and so, I thought… well, I can count several people of which I was able to directly or indirectly put in MLB jobs. My endorsement counts to a certain degree.
So, that’s where you come in. If you are aware of a senior technical position available in your company, then email me: tom~tangotiger~net (replacing ~ as appropriate). My thinking is that your endorsement is going to carry the same weight mine has in the past. Ideally, the company will be in NJ, possibly in Manhattan. Outside of that, well, I’m not looking. Not unless it’s an opportunity worthy of uprooting my family.
