Poz for the HOF?

By Tangotiger, 05:50 PM

Normally, I would say yes.  But, this quote gave me a chuckle:

The biggest scandal in journalism was the baseball writers’ sheer incompetence in identifying and reporting on the rampant use of steroids in baseball. There’s no way of determining which reporters should have uncovered the steroids scandal before it got out of hand, so as a result we should just not give anyone who wrote during the Steroids Era the Spink Award.

Indeed, why not remove the HOF vote from any writer who covered baseball between Canseco’s rookie year and BALCO?
