Poz and Gasbags on Parade

By Tangotiger, 11:57 AM

Poz makes a point about how useless so many conversations are, because once a fork on the road is taken, all the hypotheticals about which fork to take is now meaningless.  Basically, the landscape is filled with Gasbags on Parade (I don’t remember who invented the term, but I love it).

A good discussion is one where, regardless of the choice being made, the discussion itself is still one that can live on.

In short, critical thinking is always good, because it has applications beyond the current scenario.  Gasbags however react to a scenario and once that event comes to pass, it makes their entire conversation moot.
