Player and Position File 2010

Here’s the first two records of the file below. It gives the MLBAM_ID for all 8947 players who played in MLB or Minors in 2010. It includes the following:
is_mlb: 1=played in MLB, 0=he didn’t
Pos_Class: his primary position group (P, C, IF, OF, 1B) as I’ve determined it
Player_tx: his name
retro_id: retrosheet ID (if he’s ever played in his career in MLB)
bdb_id: BDB ID (if he’s ever played in his career in MLB)

MLBAM_ID|is_mlb|Pos_Class|PLAYER_TX|retro_id|bdb_id
