Our Lab: Bias in Batted Ball data

Please use this thread to post any research or thoughts you have on the bias present in the batted ball data being collected by the various outfits (Gameday/Retrosheet, STATS, BIS, Sportvision).

Let’s try to limit bias discussion in other batted ball threads, and place them here instead.

I’ll keep this thread sticky for a few days, and then unsticky.
