Off the scrap heap, and contributing at the MLB level

These were players that were (probably) signed for a mill or less, but are contributing this year. That’s not to say that these guys establish the replacement level. Nosiree. That’s because of selection bias. You’d have to decide before the season starts as to which guys are the replacement level (of which all these guys would be part of the group). You can’t just take, after the fact, the best performing guys of that group and declare that to be the replacement-level. Anyway, interesting list.
