Need some computer/browser help please pertaining to MLB.tv video!

I posted this in the “grunt work” thread:

I am having an issue with the video on MLB.tv (on MLB.com). On some people’s browsers, they have a video screen that includes a rewind and fast forward button. The fast forward button is critical to recording the data efficiently. On some people’s browsers, there is a slightly different video interface, with no fast forward (or rewind) button. This makes it difficult to navigate around the game.

I suspect that it has something to do with the video plug-in in the browser, but I cannot figure out how to solve this problem for the people that don’t have the fast forward button on their video interface. Any help would be appreciated. For example, does anyone know the correct plug-in and version for the interface that has the rewind and fast forward buttons and how to replace one plug-in with another? Is this something on the MLB.com screen which can be manipulated?
