Nate 100

By Tangotiger, 12:04 PM

Lists, lists, lists.  This time, it’s Time’s 100 most influential people in the world, including Nate Silver.  Nate’s writeup was done by Bill James.  I still have to believe that Nate’s biggest honor was being interviewed by Colbert.  And that he actually made him laugh!

***

Nothing to do with Nate here.  I presume that half the list is Americans?  I’d like to think they meant “most influential people in the world that affect America”, but then I’m sure there’s going to be some people in that list that doesn’t really influence America any more than Paris Hilton does.

This is my personal gripe in any list that has “most” (or “best") and “world” in the title that is invariably dominated by Americans.
