Monolithic sabermetrics

A great set of questions to the author of Short Hops.

I can’t stand this monolithic view of sabermetrics, that the author of Short Hops, or anyone, comes up with.  It’s a 2-D caricature, cherry-picked examples, if not complete distortion of reality.

Good job to the questioner for putting the author on the hot seat.
