Meauring talent in a vaccum
Phil look for something that is context-free: point-after kicks. It would seem that since 1984, there’s been nothing in the rules that should cause any success rates to change, and since defense is probably not a factor, it’s really all about the kicker, his cleats, the snapper, the holder and the condition of the field. The kicker must be the prevalent parameter here. More somewhat related discussion is here.
