Last year’s 1 year deals on starting pitchers

Ah, I love it when people do their verifications.  Great job:

Overall the group was guaranteed $68.8 million and provided 15.5 fWAR ($4.4 million per win).

Rally however had them forecast for 23 WAR, though we’ll obviously cut him almost total slack on Sheets and Bedard.  This may go toward what Matt was talking about how we overforecast on WAR and therefore underforecast on dollars per WAR.

In any case, that’s how you do your verification.
