Human Tracking
From a pure “I want to know” perspective, I’ve long said that I would put tracking devices on everything (the ball, the bat, and the player himself). This way, we can reconstruct every event in baseball, and know exactly who was where when, and what was he doing, and how fast was he doing it. Video games already digitally capture many players movements to make their games realistic. The Fox Puck has been implanted in hockey pucks (which face high speed shots). And the married players already are wearing a GPS device on their ring finger. Now, we just need to put it all together.
And here comes those crazy Aussies.
