The average win value of any event always depends on the run environment (as well as the game state, meaning inning, score, base, out). Tim Raines’ average HR added .126 wins on average. So, you have to be very careful in trying to think if you can guess if this is good or bad clutch. You need to know what the average player would do in Raines’ context.
