How many runs can this lineup score (in a game)?

By , 08:18 PM

Here it is along with their pre-season OPS projections from Oliver (ZIPS for Omar Santos)

A PAGAN CF .682
W VALDEZ SS .634
D MURPHY 1B .775
J FRANCOEUR RF .729
C SULLIVAN LF .688
F TATIS 3B .774
O SANTOS C .643
A HERNANDEZ 2B .594

That is a projected team OPS of .690!

My current lwts projections has them at -93 runs per 150 games or .62 runs per game less than the average team.  I have their defense (UZR) projected at -17 runs per 150 games.  This is one bad lineup.  About the worst you will ever see on any team in any year.

So how many runs did this lineup score today?  Let’s see…

10 runs…
