Fighters and fighting-advocates verbally fighting

By Tangotiger, 03:32 PM

When Don Cherry, who if he were younger would find himself right at home in the blogosphere’s snark-infested waters, jumped over the line with a rant against former fighters, labeling them hypocrites for wanting to get rid of fighting in the NHL.

And then some pros-cons for fighting (mostly cons).  Just one pro:

“I don’t know if that necessarily is the right thing to do and if you could guarantee me that other stuff – stick (infractions) and hitting from behind would decrease – then maybe,” says Rychel who is part-owner and general manager of the OHL’s Windsor Spitfires. “It’s obviously a touchy subject.”
