Demon computer in baseball

From Tom Ruane, one of the main Retrosheet guys, one of the top saberists, and just all-round good guy:

If you are in the vicinity of Poughkeepsie, New York, next Monday night (October 17th) and have absolutely nothing better to do, I will be giving a talk at Marist College on how the demon computer has changed the analysis and history of baseball.

Here are the pertinent details from the announcement:

When: 7:30 pm, Monday, Oct 17, 2011
