Dear Donald Fehr,

By Tangotiger, 12:49 PM

Since it seems that Donald Fehr is responding to specific questions with very detailed answers (pdf), perhaps you can answer why the specimens were coded to begin with.  Couldn’t this have been handled exactly like when you vote, so that the donor registration list is updated, and the specimen box contains the bottle, and the two can never be linked, ever?  Instead, you allowed the bottles to have a coded label, and the registration list to have coded entries, and then you hoped that the two would never be linked.  Why tempt fate with the coded entries?
