YouTube of the day
It happens at the 12-second mark:
Buy The Book from Amazon
I didn’t think that it was super awesome (just a medium-level of coolness… if that makes sense) because the guys who put down the oop and dunk seeme like… well, it seemed like men v. boys. Or big boys v. little boys. Maybe that’s just me.
Nice play, but yes, I was expecting some better or funny, like someone getting hit in the head by the ball or some such thing…
Earlier this year I saw probably the most incredible high school basketball play I ever could expect to see. (It was off one of the feeds, probably CNN or Fox, at work.) Kid takes the rebound after a missed free throw by the other team, about 3 seconds left in the game, and just heaves the ball accross the entire court… and hits the basket as the buzzer goes off.
They win by a point.
THAT’S a play.
In all seriousness, I missed the play the first time the video ran because I was focusing on the woman who falls down the steps in the lower left-hand corner.
And I was watching the guy in the white shirt who got creamed by the dunker coming over his back.

For Your Soul
I saw this earlier… I didn’t think this was such an incredible thing that it should be making the rounds on the internet as it has been doing. No, I could not come close to doing it (maybe I could do the first in-air pass), but I don’t think this is so amazing. Am I alone here?
