Interesting, as I quite enjoyed the Q&A.
Maybe it was because I didn’t read anything more than I used to teach my Little Leaguers 15 years ago. And the other guy (not Jacoby) was such a bad interview.
And the, “How important is being relaxed rather than tense,” question or, “How important is not letting the other team know you are stealing?”
Questions like that really bug me. Plus I hear that 6 hours a day on MLB Sirius radio.
How about the interviewer just say, “OK, we all know that being relaxed on the bases is important, and not letting the other team know you are stealing is important, so let’s move on to the next question, and hopefully (but not likely) it will be interesting and insightful...”
To each his own I guess…

Wow, that is a bad interview. I learned almost nothing. And why do interviewers feel the need to ask rhetorical questions? They usually start with, “How important is...?”
“How important to stealing is having two legs...?”
Disclaimer: DL is usually a good interviewer and his interviews are often interesting.
