Presuming someone out there is setup for this request better than I am, I’d like to get:
pitcherName, pitcherID, GB, PO, A, DP, E
That is, how many GB does a pitcher allow, along with his personal putouts, assists, DPs, errors?
If no one is setup for this, I’ll spider it this weekend.
If you need official totals, I’m not your guy, but I can probably derive this from my Gameday database. It’d be Elias IDs, which I don’t know if those work for you.
Yes, this season only. And official totals is not required.
I’m mostly interested in the number of GB and the number of plays he was involved in if that helps.
I can try to parse that data out of the “des” column on the play. I’m at work right now - I’ll see if I can take a look at it tonight.
BTW, I’m working on a set of projections to use for the playoffs, and I was wondering if there’s any way I could get the early returns from the FSR to use for the defensive projections.
Colin, if you run out of time, let me know. I already have the query to get the number of ground balls, I’d just need to add the rest of the information.
