SABR 399
Glove-slap Pat. Course at Williams.

I added the syllabus to my favorites list, and downloaded several of the PDFs. I should be able to learn something. I haven’t done any linear algebra for nearly 30 years (not that I was that good at it then).
Obviously it’s a very different course than mine, but it’s helpful to see what other people are doing. Nice set of links to quality studies that still could be useful for my stuff.

Passed this along to a friend of mine who’s at Williams.

I am very proud of my alma mater as this is the best Sabermetrics course syllabus that I have seen to date. Perhaps because it is being offered as a relatively high level math course. This would be a course for math majors at the junior year or possibly second semester sophomore year if they got AP credit. It is definitely not a fun course for students looking for an easy way to fulfill their math/science requirement. It also seems that the professor is quite familiar with the blogging research as well as academic research.
