Page Six: Will Carroll and Jenn Sterger

By Tangotiger, 12:07 PM

This is pure “E! News” type of Blog.  If this party is not for you, just don’t go in.

Jenn Sterger has said this about our buddy Will:

He is one of the many people, along with Will Carroll that I have met in my crazy travels that I have just absolutely come to trust and love.

And this

The drive isn’t an especially long one, but the stretch of I-10 is ridiculously boring. Luckily, my friend Will Carroll at Baseball Prospectus radio kept me entertained along the way ... and he even got an interview out of it, too.

Will has said this

So I walked into a bar with Jenn Sterger ...

It’s a great start to a story, isn’t it? Better because it’s true. I did this on Wednesday, meeting the famous “FSU Cowgirl” as part of ... well, I can’t say much about it yet. Beyond the initial “wow” factor, the meeting taught me more about myself than I expected.

Will even added her to his laminated list, though he broke the rule, since you can’t actually put down your friends!

1. Jodie Foster: ...
2. Shakira: ...
3. Lindsay Lohan: ...
4. Kristin Bell: ...
5. Jenn Sterger: ...

They’ve been spotted here:

I’m referring to the Fantasy Moguls “Celebrity League,” a collection of some of the biggest names online. Here’s the roster:

1) Team Sterger—Captained by Jenn Sterger from http://www.jennsterger.com. If you don’t know who she is, Google “FSU” and “Cowgirl.” You do the math.

2) Team Fantasy—Captained by Will Carroll from ESPN’s own “The Fantasy Show.”

And here:

The Winter Meetings opened with ... a resounding silence. As the baseball world descended on Orlando, the action was limited to dinner. Jenn Sterger and I dined near Theo Epstein, but I seemed no closer to signing Daisuke Matsuzaka than he did. The steak, however, was great.
