Charissa Thompson has made her mark across sports and entertainment covering an array of events from the NFL, to hockey, to basketball to the red carpet. She has now signed on with ESPN and is co-hosting a new show, “Numbers Never Lie” starting in September 2011.
Numbers don’t line, they are just misapplied and misunderstood.
And they give Tango an excuse to post a pic, which I appreciate.
It’s only fair to mention that lots of data should be regarded with initial suspicion. I always keep in mind the declaration by a famous Scottish demographer William Brass: “All data are guilty, until proven innocent.”

Color me concerned. Assuming the worst, I’d expect a pairing of her & some Cowherd-esque mongoloid, who’ll bloviate about how the numbers really are lying. Argue argue argue, everybody gets angry and nobody persuades anybody.
But hey, maybe they’ll actually do something good. Unlikely, but possible.
