Report on things that only you can give me, with your inside access.  Don’t give me your opinion about some bullsh!t.  That’s for us bloggers to do.

I have to say, I can’t figure out your point here, unless you’re saying Bill Baer shouldn’t get himself worked up over that drivel.  It was a blog, not a newspaper article, and it did contain some “inside” info.

For some reason, I thought she was a mainstream reporter.  I guess she is, but she posted in a blog in this case?

Anyway, if she’s doing her thing as a blogger, then my point is irrelevant.

she writes a blog, which is on the official website of “The Morning Call”, a daily newspaper from the Lehigh Valley

Yes, if she is writing on behalf of a publication that issues her press credentials, she is a journalist even if she runs a blog.
