Halladay’s new changeup

By Tangotiger, 03:25 PM

Cool article by Dave Allen.

I talked a fair amount about Halladay’s journey with his changeup in the comments to my article on the palm ball:
http://www.hardballtimes.com/main/blog_article/the-palm-ball/

I have some links to pictures of his old changeup grip and new splitter grip there.

It cracks me up a little bit in the Philadelphia Daily News article that Dave links to that they show a picture of him throwing a cutter with the caption, “Roy Halladay feels comfortable throwing his changeup in a jam.” Comfortable throwing it in a jam, but not for their camera, apparently. smile
