Graphical tool plotting team wins to salary

By Tangotiger, 11:23 AM

This is pretty cool by Ben Fry:

Drag the date at the top to move through the season. The first few days of the season are omitted because the rankings to (at least) that point are statistically silly. You can also use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move forward or backward one day.

Very cool. My one suggestion would be to plot the salaries in linear intervals, not in simple rank order. In other words, the Yankees should be almost twice as far from the next highest teams, not just a single increment above them.

Brian good suggestion.  The same should also apply for the win% too.
