Watched it last night. Was utterly disappointed, which was expected I suppose. Can’t they get anything right on TV? There was so much misinformation in that show, it was pathetic. Makes you wonder whether anything on the Discocery and Science Channels are ever accurate. On a positive note, it was nice to see sabermetrics get a little mainstream air time.
Has anyone ever heard the term sabermetricists? That is what they kept referring to sabermetricians as. I suppose one is as good as the other, since they are relatively new “coined words” anyway, but you would think they would use the word that has beeen used in thousands of books and articles and internet discussions for 30 or so years, rather than something I have never heard used before.
