Ballparks

By Tangotiger, 07:03 PM

Just found this site:

Yes, the Clem’s Baseball is a great site, I found a lot of good info there on ballparks when I was making my diagrams for Hit Tracker (though I did find that Clem’s diagrams are *almost* to scale, but not exactly so).  I especially like the feature that shows the changes in the ballpark layout over the years.

If you’re into ballpark photos, this is the best site out there:

http://www.digitalballparks.com/

For a bit more info on the ballparks, aside from layout, this is a good one as well:

For ballpark related news, this is the ultimate site:

http://www.ballparkdigest.com/

Photos of 51 MLB and 343 minor league parks are here:

Munsey and Suppes may be the best all-encompassing info site, based mostly on the book Green Cathedrals I believe:

A similar site, but with more pictures, especially for old MLB parks:

http://www.ballparksofbaseball.com/

Sites that somewhat specialize in Japanese ballparks:

http://home.n00.itscom.net/kbt-t/home_e.html
http://meta-metaphysica.net/baseball/stadiums.html

Current minor league parks:

http://www.minorleagueballparks.com/stadium-list.php

and one more good historical site, including some Negro League parks:

Sorry about repeating ballparks of baseball…

Here’s a blog for someone who may draw park diagrams even better than Clem, but only for historical parks:

http://www.historicballparks.blogspot.com/

Another good minor league picture site:

http://www.geocities.com/paulsminorleagueparks/

and a good Japanese Park Guide from Japan Times:
