Another stat symposium

For some reason, these are all held in New England or San Francisco.

This particular one alternates between Boston and San Fran because that’s where the sponsors are. I attended the one in SF in 2008. It’s a good conference, not baseball-centric by any means.

Tango:  Not to needle you or anything, but you’d have a hard time getting people to come to a conference in NJ.  smile Unless it’s Princeton!

Sabermetrics may be better served by venturing outside the Baseball bubble. Improvements in analytics are happening faster in other fields. Good statistics conferences in the NY area coming up are:
