Changing the playoff format

This time from Willy Stern (who some of you may remember as the professor of the ethics game we launched here and at THT).

All these changes, and you can make a list of dozens, all depend on the objective. It’s all well-and-fine to say you want 4 teams from each league, regardless of division, but if the objective is to have each division represented, then that solution won’t work. Basically, in order to make changes, you have to determine the objective and constraints. And only then can you offer changes. Until then, we’re just going to have alot of people make alot of proposals, some even conflicting with each other, all making sense.
