Blogger v WADA
Blogger Murray Chass is picking many fights, and this time, it’s against WADA. I had a similar issue against Montrealer Olympic head… darn it, what’s his name?.... it’ll come to me… when he spoke out against the NHL’s drug testing. Of course, virtually all the Olympic hockey athletes are from the NHL, and they all passed, except for like two cases. I think Bryan Berard (he who lost use of an eye), and Jose Theodore (who got a therapeutical use exemption). There was one other guy I think. A defensemen. But none of them made the squads anyway. Yeah, it’s all gloom and doom, until facts are presented to the contrary.
Ah, Dick Pound, that’s who.
In any case, it’s none of their business. This is a workplace issue, to be decided by the players. And a financial issue, to be decided by owners and fans voting with their wallets.
Historians, and Field of Dreamers, and Olympic officials: deal with the real world. Your daughters do grow up.
