Blengino’s stat of the week: WAR
It’s at the 30 minute mark. I never thought I’d hear WAR described on the radio in technical detail. I only listened to the first five minutes, then I had to take my kid to school. Impressions? Here’s the archives for past shows. Checking now: defense, FIP, out, wOBA. Yowza, can’t wait to hear it.
Presumably Tony is doing this every week, with various stats? I’d be interested to hear how the listeners are responding. And earlier in the broadcast, there’s huge shoutouts to USS Mariner and Lookout Landing. They talk about the Mariner summit with 600 people, and the front office getting standing ovations from the crowd.
