Bill James’ Hall of Fame Stats Primer

By Tangotiger, 03:31 PM

The ground-breaking Alex is back for more.

I gotta say, I just love the layout he has.  He asks the basic questions you should ask of any stat.  I would say that all of the sabermetric wikis out there, even the one on my site, should be changed to follow that kind of flow.  It makes it so easy to scan the page, go back to the page, etc.  It’s brilliant in its simplicity.

It’s similar to Studes’ Batted Ball Index pages: the layout makes it so that it’s so easy to scan and get back to.  I really really really prefer the usability to anything else.
