The Endy Chavez family of players

I haven’t studied the issue, but I would have to guess based on selective memory and anectodal evidence like Ryan Langerhans that the Endy Chavez famiglia of players (good- to great-fielding outfielders, below-average to really below-average hitters) are very undervalued.

Think about it.  If you have a really good fielder in CF (+1 win), who is an above average baserunner (+0.25 wins), with the positional advantage of CF (+0.25 wins) who is a really bad hitter (but not super horrible) of -1.50 wins, gives us a total of +0.  That’s a league average player!  Take a bit off across the board, and you have a #4 outfielder.  This is a valuable player.

List for me the guys you see in the Endy Chavez famiglia…
