Are girls being treated as second-class sports citizens?

By Tangotiger, 03:46 PM

A couple of them think so, and have some evidence to back them up.

My policy is to basically support any minority that has a half-reasonable claim to anything, simply because those that make the rules, the majority, do so to ensure their own continued survival, by applying arbitrary, biased, and capricious standards.(*) Altruism and empathy is not something often seen with the majority.  Hence my disdain with the old white male American politicians who make the laws that target the young, non-whites, female, and/or non-American population.

(*) Not all the time naturally.  Enough that it’s disappointing that it happens, while accepting that USA is probably above-average in how it treats its minorities.
