2009 Open Predictions

By Tangotiger, 12:35 PM

Someone sent me this great link on every player’s chance of winning each round.  Here were Federer’s chances of winning each round:
1 99.98%
2 96%
3 94%
4 90%
5 85%
6 71%
7 64%

I have a hard time believing 99.98% for the first round.  The last round though also seems conservative.  Nadal for example I think has a 75% win% in the championship round.  Interesting nonetheless.
